The violence against unarmed Iranian civilians protesting the recent fraudulent Presidential Elections in Iran needs to be condemned in the strongest possible words and firm actions taken by as many people as possible. At this stage, only a huge global support can materially help the otherwise helpless civilians who are being killed, mauled, burned and beaten by a dictatorial regime led by a so-called religious leader, his followers and their demagoguery and charlatanism. Please put your signature on this and be a part of the global conscience that needs to be a voice of protest against this flagrant attempt to stifle democracy. It is of utmost urgency to make international organisations and government officials of more and more countries speak out against the atrocities in Iran. If not stopped now, this could well turn into a genocide. We are a group of scholars, artists and writers who believe in freedom for all human beings and are voicing our strongest protest against the outrageous violation of human rights in Iran. Please join us and help stop the massacre of the future of Iran. This is a matter of global concern. All of us need to stand in solidarity with the citizens of Iran whose only wish is to have their votes accounted for to prevent a dictatorial government from coming into power. Thank you.
