Citizens of Bowie, MD don’t need another skating rink....we need a sports facility that encompasses multiple indoor sports and computer labs for after school use.

The area is not overflowed with ice skaters. Most of the time you can go to the Bowie city gym and see many, many kids and adults making due with the little bit of space that they have. Its a disservice to the kids in the community to have someone vote against their best interest, them and their parents have been the ones who have supported the area, the ones who are at the homecomings, the ones who are doing the fundraisers. Its shameful that no one is looking out for them.

I am not in favor of this ice rink on Church Road. Development in our city should be grounded and guided by deep engagement with the community of stakeholders and tax-payers.

Please do not build this in Bowie. This road is already over loaded and unsafe as it is. It was not wanted by people in this community OR this district. If the ones not in this district want the arena so bad have them build the area in their district or their county (Anne Arundel).

We simply cannot afford this luxury item when we are going to be confronted with fewer tax dollars as a result of the Coronavirus. It is best to take the loss. It will be awhile before the economy bounces back. Issue a Termination for the Convenience of the City of Bowie, Maryland.
