We, the undersigned, call on City Attorney Mike Feuer to file criminal charges against Sunny Chae and Marina Furuta for violation of the Krekorian Act.
Sunny Chae and her assistant Marina Furuta run one of the largest talent scams from Los Angeles. They target aspiring actors, mostly children, all across the country. They illegally charge upfront fees and violate the Talent Prevention Scam Act (Krekorian Law) which is illegal in California. City Attorney Mike Feuer, Councilmemember Paul Krekorian (law written after) and BizParentz Foundation (a child actor advocacy group which helped create the Krekorian Law) have not been listening to the victims which mostly includes parents and children. Sunny and Marina operate Global One, Ltd., Breakthrough Network Management, Studio Icon L.A., Worldwide Star Search, Genesis Blessing L.A., International Casting Service, Senior Star Association, Dear "Mama Sunny", Rejoice in Hope Foundation, and more. Sunny has been exposed in an article by Deadline Hollywood.

As an intern I saw how these two woman scammed so many people. It is about time they are held accountable. They speak about the lord, but they are con artists, using the lord's name to manipulate people.
This is my aunt, who has been running this scam for decades. It is good to know that she is finally being exposed. Thank you.
This is so sad. I interviewed for this company, and it was weird. They skyped me but I could not see their face. It felt like a scam right away, and my parents decided to not let me sign with them. After seeing all of this and now they are blacklisted in LA, I am so happy that I did not go with them. We found a better company that actually has booked me several jobs.
I foolishly paid over $1,000 for a photo shoot with Studio Icon which now I know Sunny and Marina are operating. Unbelievable how they have not been charged! Thank you Mimi for starting this petition you truly are a genuine person.
Sunny Chae and Marina scammed me about ten years ago, I never thought they would still be in business. I look back on this petition and the Facebook pages that warn against her scam, unfortunately we did not have these back then!
Scammed my family as well. She has no worries with taking advantage of children.
She was like a monster on a phone meeting.. and asked me to take her portfolio session for $1500. Crazy

This makes me sick! We were scammed by these two woman. My daughter was scammed and this made her never want to pursue acting and singing again. The city should be ashamed, allowing this company to still prey on innocent children. They are all con artists.
