Objection to the planning application of two 45m (148ft) Wind Turbines that could be placed only 500m away from the nearest residents in Stone, Staffordshire and within a 1.5 miles of the whole town.

To Her Worship The Mayor and Members of Stafford Borough Council

We the undersigned object to the application: 13/19205/FUL  |  Installation of 2 no. WTN 250kW wind turbines with an overall tip height of 45m including associated temporary infrastructure  |  Land Near Stone Park Farm, Pingle Lane, Stone, Staffordshire.

On the grounds that to permit the application would adversely and injuriously affect our community and the peaceful enjoyment of our dwellinghouses by reason of noise, flicker effect and overbearing intrusion in the landscape.

Health Issues:

International research and media reports document people exposed over time, to too-close wind turbines, are experiencing adverse health effects.

More Research Needed on the Effects of Wind Turbines:

..no studies were found that have come close to replicating the long-term exposures to low-level infrasound experienced by those living near wind turbines. So, to date, there are no published studies showing that such prolonged exposures do not harm humans.

The Telegraph - Secret wind farm report into house price blight

Chris Heaton-Harris, the Conservative MP for Daventry, said: “Wind farms definitely affect house prices and it is highly likely that this report will come to that conclusion.”

The Express - Proof Wind Farms will cut Scots house prices

Advised to lower house price by 30%

‘Linda Holt, of Scotland Against Spin, said: “Estate agents are now advising those wanting to sell their homes to lower the price by 30%. Sadly, some find they cannot sell at all.”

"Wind Turbine Acoustics", NASA, Technical Paper 3057

"People who are exposed to wind turbine noise inside buildings experience a much different acoustic environment than do those outside...They may actually be more disturbed by the noise inside their homes than they would be outside...One of the common ways that a person might sense the noise-induced excitation of a house is through structural vibrations. The mode of observation is particularly significant at low frequencies, below the threshold of normal hearing."
