As a senior (70 yrs) I am affected very much by this policy as need to be able to use car to get to shops etc plus in the hours of darkness traffic less streets are dangerous places to be particularly when one is no longer young. The roar and thunder of traffic whether horse or petrol or electricity powered provide stimulus that helps cities be centres of human development.
So please try to reverse this policy.
Very many thanks

The requirements for elderly, people with walking difficulties and disabled people. Need to be thought of before closing roads. Also how the local businesses will be affected

Can’t see the point of closing roads down to traffic, if the city wants to reduce emissions, surely keeping traffic moving, aids reducing emissions!

Traffic solutions need city by city planning not councils shutting off roads without any forethought as to the consequences

Closing roads is a complete joke. Causing endless traffic jams and chaos. All that extra exhaust pollution where vehicle are sitting in traffic or having to drive further to get around the restrictions to get to their destination. I would say who is behind this, Mickey Mouse, but he has more sense and brain cells.

One way in, one way out of my neighbourhood of quiet streets and that is a school street! Surrounded by 3 main high traffic roads. I have to join this 4 roads away, go right round the blocks to get to 5he direction I want to go shopping. Used to be to the end of the road then left and onwards to destination. Absolutely ridiculous now. They say we can still get from A to B but in reality only if we go via Z. My world has got very small
