On the website www.mypetchicken.com, live chickens are sent to people through mail. It says on their page that: "And when you order fewer than 15 chicks we automatically send them via USPS Express Mail, which is the fastest way under the sun to ship baby chicks." although: "Losses are rare (we see them happen about 1% of the time), but they do occur. For that reason, we recommend that if you have children, make sure they are not around when you open the package."

They talk about these animals as nothing more than a mere object, that unfortunately sometimes break, but CAN be replaced.

The fact that anyone would ship live animals like this, is beyond me! I hope that you too will sign this petition, and agree that this is both uncalled for and harmful to the animals.
