This must be halted. These beautiful, unspoilt beaches are use by both locals and visitors alike for so many activities. Beggars belief that they are under threat from a government minister wielding a pen. Save Keadue, Cruit and Kincasslagh strands!

Beyond ridiculous. Not a thought for the locals, the nature, the history.

I think placing an oyster farm here is a disgrace, ruining the many activities of people living near and far

A commercial venture that would have an enormous negative impact to a stunning area.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It must be protected from this. My family are from this area and we have holidays there almost every year. Please do not allow the destruction of this unique environment.

I have been coming to this part of Donegal for over 20 years and you are blessed with stunning natural beauty that will be totally spoilt by this plan. I find it unbelievable that a non-local could exploit the area for their profit. It will bring nothing to Cruit and will reduce tourist numbers as that beach is wonderful as it is now. I for one wouldn't go there in future and would look elsewhere

My people are from here going back many generations many still live in this area why destroy a place of outstanding beauty and peace which is vital to the well being of the creatures and humans who use it for a fast buck

As a visitor during holidays to the island this proposal will have such a negative impact not only on tourists to the island but to all those who live on the island or nearby.

Looking at the plan, there is no room for sailing or any other activity along this stretch of strand.

They did the same to Carrickfin and destroyed the ecosystem, the mussels and winkles have disappeared completely since these cages showed up, and what an ugly scene, littered with cages, stop them I say, you will never regret it!

What really has our society become. To even contemplate a project with the aim of lining the pockets of a few defies any clear comprehension or logical thinking. To scare this beautiful landscape and deny preservation for future generations would be a cardinal sin. So many treasured memories I hold of Cruit - please help to ensure they are not diluted!!

This cannot be allowed to happen in such a beautiful and unspoilt part of Ireland.
