Parks are important, especially in a town where the community is so involved. It would be wrong to take it away.

I am about to relocate to Bentonville and this park is a huge draw for us. Parks and green space is really important, even cities with the most expensive real estate in the world have green space for children. London and New York City have dedicated parks. Please consider the children in the community most impacted by this.

I live quite close to the proposed location and think this is a poor idea. Parking allocations are not sufficient and it would be a detriment to the area. Even with better parking it would be an eyesore and take away from the open beauty of memorial area which is enjoyed by so many. We can not allow the ruin of our town for profit.

We need affordable non income based housing. I'm talking decent and not super expensive apartments. Enough with this high end stuff. Some of us like living in bentonville but rent costs just shove us out.

Please don't build there, it is beautiful unspoiled land in a gorgeous area, that can't support 1000's of additional cars in the area.

As our community grows, we must be careful to preserve areas for families to enjoy together. My family values the Bentonville parks system tremendously, and Memorial/Orchards park is a place where we have held birthday parties, enjoyed soccer games, and spend our Easter and 4th of July holidays. I would hate to see this beautiful park overshadowed by an apartment complex. There are plenty of other places to build a complex, but only a few beautiful parks to enjoy.

Surely there are other places to build an apt complex.

A large apartment complex in this area will change the neighborhood in a negative way. In the evenings, the traffic is already bad through the park. This area has a small feel due to the lower density housing, and this college ruin that.

Please do not build.

Completely agree. Something the scale of Farmers Park (60 units in a city of 180k) would be perfect. 650 units in the middle of the town park of 40k is far extreme.

I appreciate the growth we have experienced, but I am sick of seeing all the apartment buildings in Bentonville! We need a beautiful PARK, not a development complex in already congested areas where people will not choose bikes or car share over their own vehicles...

The impact that will have in traffic will be unsafe for all the children that play recreational sports in that area.
