Stop Current Proposal for 650 Unit Crystal Flats Apartment Complex next to Memorial Park

I was born and raised in Little Rock, and I lived in Northwest Arkansas from 2005-2010. I then lived in Brooklyn from 2010-2015 where my mindset regarding developments did indeed change. I'm not saying that y'all are wrong for contesting this development. (We just happen to disagree on that point.) I'm saying that the wording of this petition is profoundly misleading.

Let's see this city built well and not end up a cesspool of traffic and unkept neighborhoods in a desperate effort to create more revenue.

Really? Make it more green space for families...

I vote to keep the park as is.

Places that people enjoy their time everyday should not be destroyed for complexes. Save this pretty park please.

please keep in mind the reason why this town is so beloved. don't make the mistakes that so many places make...a disregard for the valuable green spaces and rural feel. Many have moved here to celebrate this very thing. destroying history and beauty for the sake of the almighty dollar. over expansion and A disregard for zoning and keeping this town real.

Save our parks

The apartment complexes around here are getting ridiculous. We live in the Natural State; we're losing this every time we put up a new building.

Live near here and there is already enough housing and people in this area already

Build the apartment elsewhere. This park has various activities for families to enjoy!

If y'all keep tearing down old houses, businesses... this place isn't going to be worth going to... because there won't be anything left for people to enjoy/see. And now you want to take down part of the park?!! Save our park, so I can actually enjoy bringing people to this town. If you keep destroying, nothing will be left. No history, nothing.

This area is busting at the seams now. Affordable Housing Really?? Maybe if you raise the pay rate to meet the cost of living in this area, create decent jobs, other than Walmart to work, try doing that. The traffic has been a problem in this area for the past 20yrs and increasingly getting worse not better. My opinion, all this is about nothing more than a ploy to get more people to move here. The only people that have a say in what happens in this town anymore are the ones who seem to be making all the profit from it. Greed

I oppose this. This park needs to stay as is.

Don't build it next to schools and parks.

There are plenty of other areas to build apartments, why ruin Bentonville's best park to build some?
