Build those apartments somewhere else. Why would you remove a park where children go play just so people can have apartments. That's ridiculous!

This isn't the place where you put an apartment complex. I'm all for growth but there are plenty of other places. Allow the citizens to continue to enjoy this area. Don't take away from the children and community just to build something you can build anywhere.

We don't need to crowd all the places close to the square. Spread out a little more and don't make it so packed like Fayetteville is.

Not the right place for high density... Park, schools, short buildings all around it. It doesn't match the surrounding area.

I am not opposed to development, I am opposed to development that is poorly planned and poorly thought out! This development will cripple this area!

I'm not against progress or development, the height and density is wrong for this location.
The proposed concept has lots of positives, reducing the height to 3 floors of apartments on top of covered parking should be considered

There are many reasons this is a poor idea.

I think this is a great idea for Bentonville, but not in this area. Traffic is already a nightmare on the roads near this area and I can't even imagine how horrible it would be if they added these. Either wait until after they widen some of these roads or find a better location.

Too large. Too many people. Too tall. Too much traffic in an already traffic laden area. People will not walk and ride bikes to work. Weather not conducive. Take their children to daycare on a bike? Not a good fit.

Everyone doesn't have to live within a 1 or 2 of the square. I am concerned with the traffic in my area and the possibility of the crime going up. People seem to be coming for what it offers but trying to cram so many people in is destroying it.

Way too big. It will hurt everything that is near it.

If they would cut this project by 60-80% it might be ok... prefer complimenting the existing park with additional trails/play area/etc.

I am from bentonville and its not the city it use to be. Now its way overpriced housing. Need to keep play areas around for families and kids.

This might be a great project, but not for the proposed location.

I cannot imagine a more inappropriate location for a large apartment complex in our city!
