I am off for growth in Bentonville, but I development such as this is totally inappropriate for this location.

I would much rather see additional park fields/ball fields/pathways go into this area.

This is being planned for the wrong location. There has to be a location closer to the new schools and roads that are already 4 lane with a center turn lane. Adding this plus the Helen Walton Center will have J street backed all the way up to Central.

There is enough traffic in that area, especially with a lot of children coming and going!!! We don't need apartments in that area....

All for growth but let's be strategic - we should consider growth outward, not necessarily upward to high density areas that were created for recreational use.

I am opposed to this, we recently purchased a home downtown Bentonville and already see issues with traffic and speeding and very little police enforcement

Increasing traffic by a park and school is not a good idea. Please don't put those apartments there. How about more volleyball or tennis courts. Or add some racquetball courts instead. There are NONE in Bentonville for the public. Expand the park. Even making putting in a few nice restaurants and then making the rest parking would be a thousand times better than increasing the traffic by almost 5000 cars. No thanks!

The traffic is bad enough in that area. Also, I walk my dog there a lot and drivers drive WAY to fast for a park area!!! That should be more soccer fields or parking, not apartments which we do not need!!

This is a beautiful park that receives so much community use. There is a ton of land for sale. I see for sale signs on big tracts of land all over the place. Leave Memorial Park alone. So much work into the park to be for nothing.

They can build somewhere else. Apartments don't belong in city parks.

Concerned. I'm pro-growth, but, please find another place more accurate for this new complex, not this area. I grew up in a big city and Bentonville has been a breath of fresh air since day one. We should value more green areas and maintain the lovely balance of the natural State. Leave it this way.

I am against the proposal for apartments near memorial park . Find another place away this beautiful park. All the money put into making this park area what it is today will be in vain if apartments go in there !

Since it's inception the Crystal Bridges Musuem has been a magnet for tourism in Bentonville. A 650 unit complex does nothing to enhance the Bentonville experience. What it will do is bring congestion and crime. I lived in Austin, Tx for 30 years and saw it happen.

I have concerns about existing traffic counts and the vehicles that will be added. We need better numbers.

I don't want this densely populated plan to be a part of the Memorial Park area.
