Wrong place for this project. We need infrastructure to handle the growth.

As a 26 year citizen of Bentonville, I have seen our town explode and it's both a little scary and a little exciting. I am all for Crystal Flats - we need more housing in Bentonville. HOWEVER, I also believe that the center of one of our main parks, right beside a retirement community and Hospice Home and beside two of our largest schools is NOT the location. Has the developer ever driven in traffic on John DeSheilds and surrounding streets during soccer/softball season? During school drop off/pick ups? During morning/evening work commutes? As a parent of children who attended these schools (even as of this Spring) and a homeowner and small business owner within less of 1/2 a mile of this location, I think it's a terrible idea. There are parcels of land better suited for this development!

Mega apartments are unfittingfor this beautiful town. They send the message of greed rather than quality in our city's planning. Very sorry to hear of this proposal.

A six story high building is not what this area needs or wants.

I am strongly against the addition of any housing structure located near the Memorial Park area.

My husband and I researched & rented for 2 yrs in search of the perfect spot in Bentonville's "Museum District" to make a home for our family. We are outraged & deeply saddened that this community only 3 years into the wonderful life we've established here is being threatened by high density housing the nature of Crystal Flats right in the middle of what Bentonville has clearly spent so much time & money to create for our community. With something like this coming into the community we would no longer feel safe as we do now having our children ride down to Memorial Park by themselves - this project substantially threatens our home values - our quality of life with the additional congestion & traffic - the beauty of the landscape and the very safety of our children if this project is brought to fruition with the transient nature the rental community attracts vs. say, an income producing option like indoor tennis courts that could bring money to the City but additional value to the community as well & not tear down what the recent past years has accomplished- there are just too many variables. PLEASE STOP this from happening - research what happens when apartment housing comes into play in a community like this & over time will absolutely and drastically drag down property values, compromise the safety of our children & dramatically - not to mention adversely affect the aesthetics of the landscape - what the additional traffic will bring with more traffic accident potential - crime potential- crimes against children (is anyone even thinking about this aspect? Believe me - predators will seek this location out - theft, etc. why on earth would the Bentonville powers that be want to undue all the magic that Crystal Bridges & our parks & recreation system have done to bring people out into the community to enjoy the amenities while feeling safe? Please do the right thing here - there are so many other locations to put Crystal Flats - it has no business being in a place

Keep Memorial Park safe. The added traffic and people in our park will take away the family friendly atmosphere of Bentonville.

We are homeowners in Legacy Village and the front porch of our home faces this development. For this reason and the statement: Stop Current Proposal for 650 Unit Crystal Flats Apparent Complex next to Memorial Park, we ask the planning commission to vote against this proposal.

it is a nice plan, just a wrong place for it. To keep the park area beautiful, housing would be the best fit

Please no! Too much traffic in the area already. Terrible idea to have that near day care and ruins the beautiful surroundings of Crystal Bridges.

Very disappointed that this project would even be allowed within the area near our beautiful park and entrance to Crystal Bridges. A scourge on the beauty of Bentonville. Build it a few miles away. Lots of land and less traffic there.

There is not enough infrastructure to handle this many apartments.

I just moved in to Legay Village to get away from the hustle & bustle and here comes an inaapropriate development right across the street. It is not needed and will most certainly spoil the serenity and disrupt the traffic of this peaceful neighborhood. STOP IT!
