Wairaka is a fast growing strategic township along Jinja-Iganga highway. However, pedestrian fatalities are threatening the existence families that use this road for their livelihoods. A scary number of school children, youths, and the elderly have met their untimely deaths while crossing this high.
We want to put and end to this, and your signature will help us inform the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) that Wairaka is concerned about this issue and we need their help!

Stop pedestrian deaths at wairaka trading center. In 2012 I lost my brother due to a motor accident in wairaka trading center.
We request for the speed limits (Speed Humps) with in Wairaka Trading center. This will help us reduce on the number of accidents that is always claiming the lives of settlers of Wairaka every year. Thanks.
Wairaka has become ablack spot due to over speeding cars from wairaka mm college. Therefore UNRA should look for asolution to over come that problem
I was born and raised in Wairaka. I have witnessed too many deaths over the years. A pedestrian walkover and speed bumps need to be made immediately to save lives.
The road has claimed some many people from my village there is need to put a zebra crossing around the trading centre and humps overspeeding vehicles hand claimed the lives of our people in wairaka trading on the recent accident happened yesterday as our neighbor childhood friend Franco met his death by a car accident at wairaka trading centre

So hurt coz of the blood sheds on our highway in wairaka. Need humps and a fly over to solve this issue
