Absolutely appalling the rubbish left around. I’ve just come outside and there is a standard lamp and a double mattress that have been dumped sinceyesterday

Fed up with state of Enfield’s streets. Large overflowing bins from Appartment blocks and dumping of mattresses, chairs etc.

Fly tipping along Picketts Lock Lane has been of industrial proportions. Once there was so much it blocked the road. This is the entrance to the Lea Valley Regional Park!

The large black bins outside Riverside Court next to Chi Chi’s on Barrowell Green N21 are always full and over spilling as non residents regularly use them. A public health issue!

I won’t be voting for the current party controlling the borough council. They so very obviously have no concern for our health and well-being. Reducing waste collections to fornightly is the root cause of this. Through council tax We are paying for 13 collections per month but are receiving 8.6 and required to pay an additional fee for garden waste. Of course fly tipping will increase! How can it not!

Flytipping us a constant problem in Enfield borough. Since the council started charging for rubbish removal and introducing 2 weekly collections the situation has got so much worse. It’s disgusting and even more disgusting that council don’t address the issue.

I sincerely hope this petition is taken seriously by Enfield borough council. I along with many other Enfield citizens have noticed a increase in fly tipping over the past 5 years which is out of control. The rat population is growing too in London.

This is well and truly overdue we have all become stressed, anxious and watchdogs from this situation, Council are very quick to put Cameras up to target drivers How about targeting fly tippers and Crime this is far more important, but they choose the easy option, the other option means Prosecution bigger expense, if we have to suffer with fly tipping then we demand HUGH COMPENSATION!! on our Council Tax bill, as residents we have rights and we should not be forced to live with this situation!!!

Fly tipping in places and rubbish everywhere generally! I am tired of walking to school with my daughter and seeing so much rubbish on the road... She often asks me « why do people not care about the environment?” The current situation in our neighbourhoods is an awful example for our children and it has to change!

Living on Harton Road, there is rubbish dumped daily. To be fair it is picked up but would it not be cheaper to install cameras or have council officers investigating covertly. Businesses on the High Road are regularly fined for leaving rubbish out at the incorrect times so you have a team that should be able to deal with this rather than just looking for easy pickings to boost the council coffers.

Not only we have problem with fly tipping also there is no sign of council workers cleaning the streets twice a week they supposed to. They just ignoring this area all together and it’s getting worse.

I have been reporting rubbish dumping to Enfield Council sometimes three times a week over 3 years. They need to address the actual problem, multiple occupant houses landlords should be paying for extra bins. People should be provided larger bins to accommodate their rubbish.
