The borough of Enfield has become one giant tipping site! Unhealthy.....unsightly....devalues our lives...get it fixed pronto please! Enfield Council need to pull their socks up and do the job they are paid for!

Revert to weekly bin collections!!

Constant dumping of rubbish at the bottom of my road is a real eyesore and hazardous. There are schools in this area and the children, who are innocent are put in danger.

Rubbish left on the corner of Town Rd and Wellington Avenue Edmonton Green by residents Every Day. It is depressing to live here. The council or resident dumpers don’t care!!

I constantly have black bags of rubbish, cardboard boxes, plastic items being left against my garden wall. I pick them up and put it in my dust bin but this sometimes means my dustbin gets filled up with other peoples rubbish and mine stays in my garden until after collection day. This is an ongoing issue. If I leave the rubbish and don’t pick it up I’m worried it will attract more people to dump their rubbish. I’m constantly checking if rubbish is left which in its self is stressful. I’m becoming paranoid. When I moved into the area 30 years ago it was beautiful, clean and tidy now it’s a disgrace. Rubbish is everywhere. The bin men won’t pick up any extra rubbish why? This means people just dump it. Why can’t we all have free larger dustbin especially since collections are ever two weeks? Why can’t large items be collected free? Why aren’t there more dustbin around the wet land area? Why aren’t there marshals going round checking pitches and issuing fines to football clubs if they don’t pick up their litter. I walk round Firs Lane playing fields after children have played football and it is littered with rubbish, empty plastic bottles mostly. When my children played football the manager made sure we left the area clean and brought our rubbish home or used the dustbin. Why aren’t we teaching the next generation respect and decency. Why is the dump site not open as normal? Just reduce the amount of cars you let in at a time but honestly it’s not an enclosed area so why are restrictions still in place? Why are we having to book on line for a time slot? I’m embarrassed of how dirty Enfield has become. Something must be done. Please let’s bring Enfield back to the beautiful place where people want to live.

What the LME think would happen after cancelling weekly collections?

More and more people are dumping domestic refuse near public litter bins. Wardens/cameras are needed to deter/prevent this. Further larger public bins are needed together with notices/advertising campaign.

Fly-tipping is a menace to my neighbourhood (Brimsdown). Please, would Enfield Council do something about it.

My street is always full of rubbish including food waste and bed mattresses. The food waste is creating rat and infestation in my garden and there are rats in my house. I am sick and tired of inconsiderate people always dumping their rubbish on our streets this behaviour is not acceptable. I witnessed 2 enfield enforcement officers issuing a fine to a man because he threw his cigarette on the floor well why aren’t they doing something about this.

I’m tired of complaining about this issue along the Firs Farm wetland road. There is a primary school in there and rats galore. But nothing seems to be done about it

I feel embarrassed when I have visitors to my home, as soon as you drive into residential areas the whole Edmonton area is disgusting with fly tipping. I feel ripped off with the amount of council tax I pay

I'm am disgusted at the state of Edmonton. I regularly have to walk in the road because the pavements are full of rubbish!

Consistent problem on Firs Lane needs to be addressed urgently

Continuous rubbish dumped outside the entrance of my home, also excretion of human faeces and urine, which flows into my gate entrance

I support this petition as all of Edmonton has become a rubbish tip and the Council needs to resolve this.

Its a shame this borough had become such a mess. Clearing the rubbish isn't solving the problem, but there doesnt appear to be much action towards preventing it (i.e. wardens to patrol hotspot, warning and monitoring of those that have been identified as dumping rubbish by residents. People need to be fined so they know there are consequences to their actions. Why does the council not arrange a free collection service? They seem to be doing it anyway as rubbish is dumped daily this may help to reduce it.

Enfield/Edmonton streets are vile!

Edmonton is being ruined by people who think it is acceptable to dump their rubbish and furniture on every street because nothing is done to stop them.
