Unknown to many of the harmful effects of noise on humans' mental and physical health, wildlife, and the environment.Videoke machines and some amplified sound devices are the number one source of noise in residential areas.

Under the principal law for consumer protection in the Philippines in the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) the State shall implement measures to achieve the following objectives: "Protection against hazards to health and safety".

The noise emits by videoke machines and other sound-amplifying devices, has a detrimental effect on our mental and physical health. As stated in the Philippine Constitution SECTION 15. The State shall protect and promote the right to health of the people and instill health consciousness among them. SECTION 16. The State shall protect and advance the right of the people to a balanced and healthful ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony of nature.

Due to these unfortunate circumstances of rampant noise pollution that endangered our health, wildlife, and the environment.

We the Anti-Noise Crusaders of the Philippines plead to you our President Bongbong Marcos. The DTI-Department of Trade and Industry, the DOH Department of health, and the DENR-Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Please reevaluate, control and regulate the manufacturing of videoke machine and other sound-amplifying devices that produces Noise Pollution in the Country.

It is honestly surreal seeing how many folks just want to get some sleep and preserve their sanity because the constant noise from these machines is really taking a toll on all of us. I think about the people who joined this right at the start when it was just an idea and it makes me feel like we might actually hold some weight here even if the whole thing feels massive and sometimes overwhelming.

As a foreigner living in the Philippines I am abused if I complain about noise and my Wife is too frightened to help me. I can be told to get back to my own country if I don't like videoke noise But what about my Wife who is Philipina? We live very close to a nature reserve in Pampanga which is designated to be a peaceful pilgrimage site but in the last 2 years, several cafes have opened for business nearby and of course they all have videoke. It has become a nightmare for us.

Its about time the Government at all levels started to educate and mandate the noise law and nuisance act. And repeat offenders should have every device confiscated from there possession. The goverment fiscal law office should go after these so called equipment providers who set up massave speaker and sound system 4 knowing thay are breaching the anti noise and nuisance act and at the same time causing huge amounts of health & hearing damage to the wider community especially children of our Barangays. This is 2022 not 1975 so lets act like a responsible caring communitys and stop noise pollution.

We need this. I already have anxiety attacks because of the noise. Some people don't care and makes noise anytime of the day. Even if some are working from home or even during online classes. Peace and order needs to be implemented, and this includes excessive noise.

Anybody who buys or owns a videoke machine, be it for private or business used should be required to soundproof their respective area where they play or use their machine and should be inspected and approved by City Health or assigned government agency particularly for this matter. Banning of amplified sound systems on public transports and barangays need to have proper information on laws regarding Clean Air Act since most of them have no idea on this basic law.

My main concerns are noise from (a) modified motorcycle mufflers; (b) brrrrttatatat exhaust from PUJs; (c) honking without reason other than to say that they want trafic to move; and (d) revving engine.

what happened to the other petition and why do we need another? it had over 1000 signatures. It's clear that we want something done about the issues of loud music so why is nothing being done? i'm so tired of hearing bass music almost everyday its effecting my mental health really bad. We have rights, it should be banned from homes and residential areas.
