This is a horrible location for this truck stop. Area is way too small. I realize that this is a needed space for truckers but this is not the location. Trucks pulling out of there to get on to the freeway will be slow and deliberate due to the Topography of the road. Are there plans for a traffic light??
Save the truckers and local neighborhoods the frustration of this poorly planned location. I encourage them to please please find another location

Our little 2 lane highway is already congested from traffic coming off the 15 when the freeway is slow. We do not have stop signs or traffic lights to be able to easily turn off of our streets. Nor is the Old 395 large enough to handle more traffic.

Keep our rural community rural! We have a decent sized park n ride and gas station already and it also has space for semis to rest.

West Lilac has too many homes, businesses and schools without adding more vehicles to this two lane road. In fire emergencies ( which we have almost every year now) it will be a nightmare to get people out safely.

Sex trafficking and drugs come to mind when I read this. Not to mention the nightmare traffic it will cause on a rural 2 lane highway . Horrible project no way

Will reduce property values
Will introduce crime, drug, and human trafficking prostitution as well as 24 hour pollution
Question: how are these 18 wheelers exiting northbound on old hwy 395 at a 3% grade and confronting a 3% downhill grade going to avoid collision?
This project is an insult to all of us. We should all stand up to this.

This project will be a disaster. 18 wheelers cannot negotiate the northbound interchange, grade leaving the proposed site. Not to mention the southbound 395 approaching the truckstop while these semi trucks try to crawl out of their uphill climb.
Terrible idea. Money grab at our expense.
This project does not fit the community nor does it serve our community but rather is a stain on our rural community. We are not an industrial town. Bonsall is horses and avocados and other farming.
