Carlsbad: Stop Low Flying, Loud, and Unsafe planes from operating over our Homes and Neighborhoods

The noise pollution is unbearable (grating, loud droning noise every 6-10 minutes throughout the day and on weekends) especially now that we are working and learning at home.

Haven't we seen enough planes crash flying out of and into Gillespie Field. Carlsbad has permitted so much development these planes ( especially flying so low) when there's a mechanical problem there's no time to put plane down safely. Then there's all the private sector training touch and go at the risk of all the homeowners down below. I know people who are trying to get their pilots license who have turned down planes at Palomar airport due to such poor condition they felt unsafe and wouldn't fly them. Please stop this " High Risk" to all of us who lives in the area.

We live in the flight path and are constantly disrupted when we are trying to enjoy our yard by low-flying and loud planes. If I’m on the phone and a plane flies by I have to pause the conversation because of the noise. I have used the website to log complaints repeatedly yet there is never any response or improvement. I’ve seen planes flying as low as 500 feet above our house. Huge safety concern.

The flight pattern for landing is directly over our house! There is no way that these flights are at 1,000 feet.

Stop the flyovers all day and night,

This is not the area to have a 2nd large airport. This will destroy the quality of life that we have in this area. I am firmly against this. I live in a senior community that is directly in the flight path and the frequent and repetitive flyovers from small aircraft has increased dramatically and is significantly impacting the safety and quality of life. Please stop all this nonsense.

This airport should not become as big & busy as O.C. Airport! I live on a hill in the flight path and the planes are directly overhead all day long.

STOP THE AIRPORT NOISE AND POLLUTION! HOW MANY TIMES AND WAYS DO WE HAVE TO SAY THIS.

Planes regularly fly over my location too low and more often in disregard of the recommended flight path which should keep planes from flying over Bressi ranch. Most of the violators seem to be Flight School operations, surprisingly

Please allow us to enjoy our Carlsbad community. Stop low-flying planes and noisy planes that disrupt our way of life.

The airport is a disgrace. They have never listened to the residence of Carlsbad regarding the incessant plane noise and constant touch and go's from flight schools. They have shown no interest in fixing these issues.

This has to stop. It’s completely out of control

The one real function local government has in Carlsbad is to preserve the quality of life.....stop the low flying air traffic and stop any expansion of the airport.

The skies are always busy in our neighborhood. It’s time to give people a break from the constant noise
