Add a stop light to FM 2000 and HWY 21 intersection.

I had too pass by a couple years ago when Emily got hit and we had to go around. So thank ful she is alive

I am pastor of the Elizabeth Lutheran Church at this corner. I observe near misses several times daily and many wrecks each year. School traffic puts kids in danger twice each school day as well as all day long 7 days a werk.

This spot needs a light so badly. It's dangerous all the time but even more so for these students.

This should have been done years ago.

Perhaps a school zone would be more efficient. The main times a stop light at this intersection would be necessary are at the beginning and end of a school day. If a school zone were established and enforced, this could solve the safety problem without causing any traffic backups due to a light.

I agree, this is a dangerous intersection. If a light is not put in, at least a school zone should be put in there. That would be a win, win situation, as then the city could earn "revenue" for those who don't slow down during school letting out and coming in...

As a resident who lives on FM 2000, I agree a traffic light needs to be there.

I live off FM 2000. I would like to see a full red light at this intersection. It is very dangerous and busy.

I believe these high school student are very brave for voicing their opinion and have a very honorable petition. I also believe that when our children do not feel safe on the streets due to the neglect of our cities when they can make things safer that our communities are more focused on more of the minor situations. I would appreciate the city taking notice of our children trying to make our community safer for not only the children but for all citizens.

I live on 2000 & turn left to go to work in CS. Not only is there a lot of confusion when crossing over especially with the young drivers who goes first but the traffic is increasing along this corridor. People approach that intersection coming from Bryan at 75 miles per hour.

This is a goood idea. Such a dangerous intersection.
