I am a senior at Caldwell high school and it's a serious risk going in between the people speeding at 75 on the highway

A traffic light would be a great idea. Tgis intersection is very dangerous. I've seen one to many wrecks at this intersection and a lot involve our children that go to CISD. It's most definitely time to do something about this.

This petition needs to go to TXDOT who is in charge of the light. I have been privy to a number of conversations in several different groups including leadership officials, and there is much discussion to be had, but I agree that we need a traffic light at FM2000 and HWY 21.
I lived out there for a period of time and I still work in several locations along 2000, and it is always difficult getting in and out of the road. The bit of rise to the east of the intersection makes it hard to see. And people don't slow down to 60 like they should. It feels like playing Frogger to get in and out of that intersection.

Far too many times have I seen red and blues working accidents here. Too many friends and people i know have died here. It is way past due

Need to protect the children coming out from the high school road as well from FM 2000. This is a bad intersection with a hill coming from Bryan you can not see what is coming and with the speeds at 75MPH people do not slow down coming towards Caldwell.
