Halt LBWF's plans to reduce park keeper hours to 8 hours from closing time (e.g. 9pm closing, cover starts at 1pm) - we require a consultation as this is "CHANGE" not "AMENDING EXISTING".
I met with the local council representatives to highlight the legal distinction between an amendment and a full policy change. They are currently reviewing the consultation requirements requested in the petition documents. My next step involves drafting a formal letter to the planning department to demand a public hearing.

How utterly ridiculous proposal by LBWF. Not least of which is the toilets closed until the park is staffed. People can't just decide when they need to use them, particularly children. Usual ill conceived proposal by our council!

As a dog owner I am over our park early and have had to use the toilets for hand washing on a regular basis when cleaning up after my dog we need these open early not at lunchtime

Park keepers help keep the parks safe for everyone, the council should stop being so short sighted and penny pinching. Use some of the money you have as an emergency fund

I can't believe the cutbacks the Council are making. The parks should be opened all day for peoples' leisure. What happens in the children's holidays?
