I am in agreement with parents in America who want to STOP this ridiculous and abusive act of kidnapping our children done by administrative staff members in the Florida's education system. This act is abused by many who are prejudice against people who are different, not ill.

This has recently happened to my daughter. She went to her councilor saying how she felt. She then called school officer in to ask her if she had a plan to carry harming herself. Well of course she gave an example of what she could do. That was all they needed to admit my 16 year old. They never contacted me until it was too late!!! I hold the councilor and officer fully responsible what what they did at the villages high school!! God will punish your unethical acts of manipulation children's words to fit your agenda! I pray sever punishment over you and your positions there and may worse happen to yours!!!

This is the most brutal, inhumane practice I can imagine being perpetrated on our children and our families and it must be stopped.

My daughter was set back years in her anxiety therapy because the school failed to communicate with the deputy assigned to the school. sh was Baker acted tramatized and I was not even allowed to talk to her doctor. they also stopped all of her meds cold turkey including her meds for asthma and allergies.

This is a ridiculous law and it makes me ashamed and horrified that something like this could be occurring children. If it's a traumatizing experience for adults I cant even imagine what the experience would be like for a child who is taken in involuntary and held up to 72 hours of no communication with their parents! This law just makes me want to vomit and I find it to be a huge injustice! If anyone feels depressed why on earth would anyone think that putting them in here will "help" them? My admiration for this Justice for All country just died a little and my heart aches for all those people, children, families that are put in these places without being able to defend themselves.....

This is for the kids, the only future we have. Involuntary commitment is the beginning of the end of that future as its allowed to continue.

I have been treated as a child and disagree with the methods that they took then and now.
