STOP Involuntary Examination of Children in Florida!

This can't be true... Nauseating.

Psychiatrists are both too dangerous and unqualified to be placed in a responsible role as guardians of children. They admit they have no cures, and their only "treatment" is drugging, jailing or shock. They also have a terrible record as a profession with pedophilia and patient molestation and murder.

This law is undoubtedly the beginning of a POLICE STATE. It needs to be changed !

Baker act law has long stopped servicing the people who were thought to be protected under its bannER. This infamous law haschool given free reign to police officers, doctors, nurses, social workers , teachers and RELATIVES to abuse and commit adults and children for their own entertainment and as punishment. It has also caused more damage than good. It is about time that this law gets revised, taken down and never Again resurfaces. Why do depressed people must be handcuffed ? Forced to live with addicts and people who have lost control of their mental faculties ? Why be committed to a place that is not conducive at all to recovery , where most needed medications for health issues are not offered to patients until 72 hours have elapsed? It is time to expose the inadequacies and abuses that transpire in a mental health facility..

Pro-active parents know their children better than any other individual in this world so we should have the right to be consulted first before taking our children away for any reason...They are children for Heaven's sake!

The Bakers Act is a cruel violation of human rights, preying on weak children. It must be revised to allow for people to make their own choices.

These changes will restore and protect parents rights. When did parents lose their right to protect their children?

No one should have the right to remove a child from school without contacting and getting the child's parents or guardian consent. It's traumatic to a child to be taken and forced to go to a facility to be 'evaluated'. This is gross.

This is outrageous and should be disallowed completely and any law rescinded! Shades of Nazi Germany. Psychiatry is harmful and this practice could instill emotional pain in any child forced to go into a psychiatric facility with or without parental consent.

This law is a grave threat to my special needs child. The school system has shown time and again that their experts have neither the knowledge nor the desire to do what is in the best interest of my child.

I've been witness to such absurd abuse. It MUST stop. Children have rights.

Let kids be kids, and let parents be parents.

No one has the right to touch a child without the parents permission. This is gross.

Parents have the ultimate right, not the state.
