In my experience, psychiatry has harmed rather than helped most of the people I know who have sought help. Extending this to children and removing parental rights give the child no advocate, no recourse, and cannot possibly be in a young person' best interests. The Baker Act should be repealed.

Hard to believe that anyone would condone such a violation of a child's human rights.

How come parents can say nothing ??!! A kid is not an object you take and process at will, it is a being, a human person who has rights and parents !

The rights being violated are being like privileges. They aren't privileges. They are RIGHTS and especially because they are kids they shouldn't be violated.
