Stop this abuse of children

We lesbians have always faced homophobia. I am a member of Tate and an artist but cannot continue to support Tate when it promotes such a homophobic ideology.

Call me old fashioned but no one, least of all a taxpayer funded institution, should be trying to normalise highly sexualised & downright demented adult behaviour around kids...

This sexually provocative drag stuff is abusive there is no way this should be normalized. It is a serious safeguarding concern and should be recognized as such. UK seems to be mindlessly aping the US in this nonsense. Where are the grownups?

I am a teacher and very fond of the youth arts program at Tate - but I am upset, that Tate is using its good name and introducing Drag-Queens to children.

Sadly the Tate seems to have fallen into the Woke mire, not only around gender.

Let us hope this petition is successful and moral rectitude and decency prevails.

Looks like this isn’t ART. He may have made decisions about his own identity- leave children to decide their own. I like wearing trousers does that mean I want to be a man? I don’t leave children alone. They are already inheriting a damaged planet don’t add more to the list!

There are only 2 genders morons.

The Tate’s purpose is to showcase art; not promulgate an ideology based on sexist stereotyping with no scientific standing. Drag itself, is misogynistic and offensive to many women. It is a form of adult entertainment that derides women and is completely unsuitable for children.

Keep these creeps away from children.

The Tate should pause and think whether, as a state institution, it should be promoting this.

This is abysmal. How can an institution like the Tate stoop to doing this? Young children should be protected from sexualisation and propaganda such as this.

Please let children be children. This insidious grooming of young minds by "drag artists" (sexual in nature), is just dangerous. The Tate should take a long hard look at what it's promoting to young minds. Creeps like Seb Samuel should 'entertaining' the adults who somehow get a kick out of watching grown men mimicking women in a crude fashion. There are plenty nightclubs for Seb Samual to peddle his kind of performance and it's not where kids are congregating. It really is not necessary for the UK to blindly follow the US in all of its weirdness.
