Taking children to what is essentially a drag show to teach them to be respectful to gay people, is like taking children to a strip show to teach them to be respectful to women. Also the amount of grooming this fosters is unforgivable. This is not suitable for children!

Drag is adult sexualised entertainment, very different from pantomime for example

Drag Queens are adult entertainment. There are lots of alternative entertainments and life choices young people could be given access to. Who would be equally good at telling stories. This is not one of them. Drag queens represent a misogynist sexualised stereotype of women. Is this what we want children and young people to see.

Why are Drag Queens/ Adult entertainers so keen to access children?

The Tate should focus on art and as a public institution should not expose children to the risk of emotional and or physical harm especially where the sponsored proselytising has no artistic basis and without the proselytising basis has no other ostensible merit. to warrant access to this open and unregulated platform .
