I met with staff yesterday to review the current intake protocols and the lack of alternative placement options. We are drafting a formal request for transparency regarding the decision criteria for euthanasia.

My dog came from pcas and he is the best thing that ever happened to me. so many good dogs getting put down for no reason its heartbreaking.
so many other shelters do no-kill why cant pasco figure it out?? get it together.
absolutely unacceptable. do better for these animals.
STOP KILLING THEM. find another way to handle the overcrowding. shameful.
they need more funding and better leadership cause clearly something is broken here.

this is sickening. these poor babies deserve a second chance not a death sentence just because the shelter is full.
