Developers want to put 115+ units on little more than 13 acres along Elm Hill Pike between Trails End Lane and Timber Valley Drive. Units may be as little as 5 feet apart from one another. Current RS10 zoning allows for 59 single-family houses. We want to keep the zoning as is

As we have witnessed in areas throughout Davidson County, overdevelopment in suburban areas causes major traffic challenges, creates urban style sprawl in a suburban community which can overwhelm existing infrastructure, and has a potentially negative impact on the quality of life of peaceful, suburban family neighborhoods.

This sizable parcel is one of the last RS10 zoned for single family homes on 10,000 sq ft lots that supports the current community character policy of our area, which is Suburban Neighborhood Maintenance. The developers and Metro Planning are trying to label this parcel as “infill” to support higher density to skirt around the area policy and try to change the zoning.

Stand strong and united, for we are Elm Hill Neighbors in Donelson! Protect our beloved community! Our voices matter!

Please say NO to this zoning change and help keep Donelson the family-friendly community we love.

This petition will be presented to the Metro Nashville Planning Commission on or before September 13, 2018.
