People who just dump their rubbish should be ashamed of themselves. You too live in this area and it reflects badly on everyone including you the culprits.

Personally I don't want the bins to be removed but I do believe that people are abusing the privilege of having them there and using it as a dumping ground for their unwanted household items. The ground surrounding the bins has obvious evidence of vandals that have set fire to items left outside the bins which is also unsightly

i appreciate these charity bins, and also the convenience their position provides. What I don't appreciate the contact dumping of useless material and unsightly state the area is constantly... They need to be moved and soon.

people are using this as a dumping ground for rubbish instead of donating good used goods to charity. it is an eyesore.

A big part of this issue is the restricted bin collection in Penrith. From moving regions we started to struggle with the frequency and volume of the bin collection and had to sometimes take garbage to our in laws home in a seperate suburb. Whilst we haven't resorted to dumping, possibly people with less mobility and options are doing so? In addition, the red bins are used as a community swap point - I see many people taking advantage of the high volume of items to collect something for themselves. Maybe a genuine community buy/swap/sell oppotunity would also mean that donations are left for the charity.

Please use the bins properly, so the charity's don't have to sort through all the rubbish. Take the big items directly to the charity shops. I take mine to the Salvos on high street, they are happy to take everything as long as it's clean and working. If it's rubbish call the council and book in a free collection you get 4 a year!!!! Giving is done with your heart but use your head and don't just dump it.

i like that glenmore park is clean, tidy the homes have nice gardens and everything is well kept, these bins show the not so good side of some of the people in glenmore park. If people want dump things i think there is a bigger issue maybe the fees at the tip are to high??? I feel the bins need to go and if people want to give to charity they can travel to penrith to drop off.

Saddens me that people expect the charity to remove their rubbish.

CCTV needs to be there to record these scumbags so they can be fined.
