Tennessee can fix today's problems by applying Christian values. It’s been tried the other way and has failed miserably. WE are the Volunteer State; let’s volunteer to fix today’s problems so our children and grandchildren have a fighting chance for a life not in bondage and up to their ears in corruption, debt and immorality.
Steven Damon Coburn if elected will ask Tennesseans every two months to use the voting booth to vote upon 10-15 items and if a high percentage agrees than it is the Governors job to make it happen because it was the will of the People of Tennessee. You will be giving us ideas for future problem solving, this is a Christian and diplomatic method of strengthening America starting with Tennessee. If done correctly, other States will follow. Washington D.C. can once again become a place of respect and trust.
Issues such as :
Vote to abolish common core, no child left behind, and teaching non English speaking students in their language.
Vote to teach biblical values in schools again.
Vote to fire and imprison any and all government officials that voted to dip into social security fund.
Vote to fire and imprison any and all government official that bundled good with bad legislature so it would be passed, and if they received any financial compensation for doing such, sell their possessions to repay our Government for acts of subversion.
Vote to imprison any government official that voted for NAFTA. on grounds of subversion.
Vote to disbar any Lawyer that has used loopholes to get a criminal off or ask for excessive continuances.
Vote to build quanset huts in every county to hold criminals until their court date and after they are found guilty. It is good enough for our military.
Vote that all death row inmates be placed in quanset huts just like our military and if a fight brakes out and one dies they died at the hands of their equal.
Vote that all courts are held 24

If this does not stop I'm going to look into starting a rally. As to fund parents that home school and church that will allow them to use there facilities to home school others children. I spent 5 hours on a damn math paper to help my son and it took fb folks and Google to find the answers. But since my son did not understand it he was given a pink slip for not listening. How the hell it's he suppose to understand if adults can not this is not teaching our children it is hindering. Us parents need to rally against this bullshit pull are kids from school to show them we will not tolerate it. If it's so wonderful I want all officials to do it as well with no text book as my son is not aloud to bring his home. No googling either since all kids don't have that luxury a I want them to do it in front of us parents so no cheating.

Forcing our children through such massive hurdle at such a young age is doing nothing for there education. It is cause it children that do not learn on the same level as others fall further behind and teachers are forced to continue on with different areas of the subject.

For the first time in 3 years my 8 year old daughter told me that she hated school. They are on such a horrible tight schedule there is no time for breaks, no room for important subjects like Science and Social Studies. My teachers daughter told us to make sure we bring a bottle of water to put under there desk, because going to the water fountain to get a drink wastes too much time! I'm sick over this! We need change, we need it now! STOP COMMON CORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

My child attends a KY school using Common Core this year for the first time and it made the whole academic part of the school year miserable for student AND parent. My child will be attending a TN school in the near future and I truly hope that Common Core is NOT a part of the learning system.

This is ridiculous that parents help their children and it is counted wrong because we do not do it the correct way but the answer is the same in the end. Get our teachers back to teaching things our children can understand!

Common Core is one of the craziest things I have ever heard of. Our country was built with Common Sense, NOT Common Core. Our children need to learn the basics and this is not happening. I pray for our schools, our children and our teachers. Please let our teachers teach the basics, not Common Core.

Our children are suffering in school due to Common Core. We have been in complete shock to hear that Kindergarten is the new 1st grade and so on. Using this program in school is causing our children to dread school and is causing them to fall behind. It is way to early in their education to be having this problem. When we ask if its just our children we are informed that its the entire class. They are expecting them to do work that's far beyond their brain's capacity at such a young age. It makes no sense to fail a child because they have to find solutions to problems by solving it in a means that makes no sense and would not be done in a regular setting! I see how it makes you think, but to have such young children,(Kindergarten & 1st Grade) trying to do this and failing them for it is absurd! Just getting by is not what we are saying we want for them. We want them to push and strive for greatness but those skills and desires come later on. Our children are not going to be motivated or successful at this rate. Its not a good idea to start them out failing! My 1st grader cries when she makes a bad grade on things that I can't believe are being introduced so early on, my 1st grader! We're told as with Kindergarten that 1st Grade is the new 2nd Grade! Ridiculous! What ever happened to teaching them the basics before introducing the harder skills. You have to walk before you can run! We do not support the Common Core Program! Please, think of the Children and not STATS! Who cares if we are keeping up with other countries! Its no longer about our Children! Its the adults in office that either don't have children in school or they just don't care and are looking at spreadsheets of numbers. Therefore, they aren't seeing what its putting them through and the stress its causing for them. School is supposed to encourage them to use their imagination and strive to do great things. Not constantly bash them because they're not meeting expectations of Common Core!

we do not need this kind of education in tn. this is more of federal government sticking there noise in where its not needed. They need to work on many other things going bad in this country. The states can take care of education in there state.
