I disagree with common core. I wasn't asked to explain why 2 + 2 = 4 when I was in school, and I'm doing just fine.
I see no reason to fix what isn't broken.

This Common Core is unconstitutional and unnecessary for the education of our youth. What is wrong with teaching history from the beginning and math without computers so the youth learn to use their heads rather than an instrument?

Not all students are created equal and therefore they cannot be taught equal. The lower students are going to pull the other students down or the lower students are going to be left behind. Furthermore this tier status looks good on paper but again read what I wrote above. Not created nor learn equal.

Why turn the best education system in the world on its ear? Who is behind Common Core? The federal govt is prohibited by federal law from being involved with local education.
