I agree with another comment - age inappropriate. My daughter is 8 years old, loved 2nd grade and loved math. Now she has panic attacks over these 3rd grade verbal comprehension questions that even I (college grad) have to read twice, filtering through the nonsense in order to find the actual question. Pearson is lining it's pockets now while Bill Gates sets the ball rolling for future pocket lining. Every child is an individual. Some will grow up to be rocket scientists, some will be artists, others will go into sales or psychology. But all of the Common Core generation will either be in therapy or on anti-anxiety drugs because of your selfish need to conduct an experiment on OUR children. And worst of all, you somehow convinced the government to agree to it. Shame on you. Shame on all of you.

Something drastic needs to be done to stop this situation from continuing. Walking with signs is not going to get us anywhere!

My 8 year old granddaughter hates to go to school because of Common Core math. She was SO happy last year in second grade! Let's abolish Common Core before this generation is completely turned off .
