Standardized government driven curriculum and testing and accumulation of data on our children is not in any way beneficial. When will we start doing what is in the best interest of the students?

It is really breaking my heart to see my 10 years old, who has ADHD struggle with the way he is learning at school. It is unfair to a lot of children because not everyones's brain work the same.

My daughter struggles everyday with geometry when she had a 90 average before common core. We need to go back to the correct ways of teaching.

my 2nd grader is failing her math tests due to common core... this is ridiculous!!! simple 2 step math problem has to be broken down to 5 different steps, this is not fair the our children!

The baseline idea behind common core is that the federal government should have top down authority over the education of this nation's children. Thus, all of the nation's school children can be indoctrinated into one set of ideas. Is there anything more dangerous than that?

Common core sucks. My son hates and struggles with math to begin and now with common core, it's worse. I don't understand the reasoning for common core and my son gets headaches from it because it's too stressful. Common core needs to get the heave ho.
