This common core is stupid it will cause more of our kids to drop out cause they have a harder time understanding it. should have just kept the curriculum the way it was an offered more teacher student extra help.

Common Core has complicated and taken the joy out of learning and teaching. I has served to frustrate children, teachers and parents with it's convoluted methods. In addition, the creators seem very comfortable with exposing elementary age children to adult reading content and materials. Joyful learning and morality has been lost with this system of non learning.

My kid is a 1st grader , & is getting common core for the 1st time. This is horrible! there's NOTHING wrong with the way we did math as children ! This is unnecessary

Common core is an assault on our children.I encourage every parent,grandparent,even if you are not a parent to sign this petition.Also protest by opting out of taking the tests.In NYC we have that right.Research the "Common Core Parental Refusal Act."Sign that petition as well.Lets continue to fight for our kids who cannot fight for themselves"

Children should not be influenced and forced to be an employee for Bill Gates by way of indoctrinating them before they can even read. I am against Common Core standards and will remain against our children and tax paying dollars being used to benefit future employees, by brainwashing our kids in this nation, much deeper than they have done already.

Tired of seeing my first grader crying out of frustration! She doesn't want to go to school! It's a daily battle!! Why are there a gazillion formulas to add or subtract!!! Stop wasting her time! Stop hurting our kids! Stop killing their childhood!!!
