I just sent my letter to the school today refusing to allow my child to take their CC test. They will have to get her data some other way...

I have never seen so much confusion across the board between Teachers, Parents and Students. Heck, we waited weeks into the school year for the books to arrive. Now that i see them i wish they never arrived.

I can't even help my third grader with her homework! I have four years of college, two degrees and a professional license! What is wrong with the way we learned!

I left teaching due to Common Core! In spite of the rhetoric, it will dumb down our students even more. Do your homework and check out everything you can find on Common Core, especially YouTube videos by Dr. Duke Pesta and Karen Bracken. Also place Common Core in the search box at http://www.TheNewAmerican.com
