If this does not change, I will give up on american education. It is in other words my first priority every day to stop it. As a 16 year old student with the above average intelligence and failing grades, my motivations should be obvious.

This is horrible! My daughter is beyond frustrated - and so am I. I see no benefit to adding extra steps when you come out with the same answer as when you did it the way I was taught in school.

Common Core discriminates against students in low income areas, ESL students, and special education students. It's age inappropriate. Look at Engage New York....dull black and white with tiny print font. It's represents all that is wrong with Common Core. Most of the lessons are put together by individuals who have no idea of what goes on in the classroom. Common Core is just another way for big business to make money. It's time for all adults to stand up for our children.

Nothing I've seen in regards to the common core approach to mathematics makes any sense. I have a masters degree and I have difficulty in helping my first grade child with her math homework due to the ridiculous approach being taught. This nonsense needs to go, and it needs to go now!

Common Core has to go! The test is way to long and stressful for our kids. It's not fair to base the child going to the next grade on the passing of this test . STOP COMMON CORE!!!!!!

We did not grow up with common core and we turned out just great! Why subject our kids to this torture! We want them to enjoy their childhood and learn from experiences not hours of testing!

Common core took my A B average children, 3 boys, and made them d/f students. Homework is extremely overwhelming for them. They break down into tears. Each child takes 30-60 minutes a night doing homework. And I am a single mother of 4. My children are on the brink of failing and because of the budget cuts, there's no extra help. The children are not retaining all this information. This common core is counter productive. Please stop this! Our children are suffering and its not going to turn out for their good. I am but 1 of thousands of parents in my district who are at a loss in trying to help our children and keep their love of learning alive.

stop common core..... parents have rights... my son crys every time we try to do his common core pretest. his anxiety level is at his max. we are not doing it!!!!!

Kids need REAL EDUCATIONS. Standardized Test Prep does not prepare them for real life.
