Isleham is a lovely, quiet, peaceful village. Coates Drove is one of the few areas left where you can still enjoy that peace and quiet. This link will probably be earmarked for a road between yet more development of housing in the village. Our surrounding area doesn’t have enough infrastructure to support the people that are already here. But putting up schools, doctors surgeries, bus routes etc don’t earn developers money!! Say no now please.

Coates Drove is such a beautiful quiet and peaceful place to be in this busy world. To see nature, sunsets and walk for the dogs we use daily. Please save this area from overdevelopment.

This road is very precious and a peaceful place not one for unrealistic house prices in an area that doesn’t even have a bus. This road is not a place to build on. Please do not let this happen.

Please keep this beautiful drove as natural and unspoilt as possible! Growing up on this Drove was so safe due to it being off a busy road and many children still love to climb the trees and explore down this road, keep it as it is!

It would be really sad to lose this Drove and all the wildlife associated with it. We love walking down it. Surely there is an alternative that can achieve the required access without destroying all these habitats?

Please do not allow a development that needs access to this drove. Please get the developer to gain access via church lanwas instead.

The Coates will not benefit from a road. More cars will create problems for this neighborhood.

Coates Drove should not be made into a road for access for the proposed housing development.

I live down Coates Drove and with the state it is in now people still drive down there at top speed so if it turns into a road that would increase! Putting people at risk. It’s become a well known place for people, not just in our village, to walk, dog walk, even for children to play down so changing this would be just inexplicable.

Why is it necessary to destroy a peaceful and safe place to walk?

Sad to find out about this development after the objections deadline had passed. If houses do need to be built in this area please make sure that access to them is via the already constructed Church Lane road. Coates drove is a truly lovely pedestrian track which is teeming with nature. It has been used as a rough access to the small number of houses on there for years with no issues, if it were changed into a highway it would ruin the habitat of hundreds of local wildlife and change the nature of a lovely local walk area for lots of the villages residents.

Just leave the drove as it is it should not be turned into a road to allow access more big houses that the village just does not need. Another example of greed within the village. That drove has been a place of quiet walks, a place to play, to ride our bikes for families for so many years don’t ruin it and take it away & spoil it for many for lining the pockets a a few who already have enough!

This drove is the outskirts on that side of the village and is a pleasant place to walk safely. Upgrading to a road is unnecessary and will completely change the nature of this area for ever and the worrying thing is what might follow.

It’s important to leave some rural areas as they are for the sake of the environment and for the people who have chosen to bring up their children in these surroundings

This is one of the few footpaths left in the village where you don't have cars whizzing past you.
We need to keep this footpath/drove open for the sake of our village and rural community.

Please keep this beautiful area of countryside. It would be such a shame to everyone that uses it and the wildlife if it were turned into a road.
