This would cause devastating effects to the wildlife in the area. I can see no reason why the owner cannot use the same access road as the current housing there. This should remain a drove and not a road.

Do houses that are unaffordable have to be built on every part of our beautiful English countryside? Whatever happened to make do and mend? So mend the old and make good use if what we already have and STOP ruining our countryside!

We often walk along here, please leave it as a pleasant quiet drove where birds can be seen and bkackberries picked, and peace and quiet can be found.

This drove is an essential WALK and links up with other footpaths around the village. It is so nice to be able to do a fully traffic free walk. Please don't change this

It's lovely to live in a village with droves, they are great for walking around the village in a safe environment, as many of the villages roads have narrow or don't have pavements for pedestrians. Please keep the droves unmade.

The historic use of the drove should be retained, especially as it is still so widely used by the community for leisure, much as it always has been over many years. The erosion of these important parts of a locale is irreversible and could never be recreated. The impact on wildlife would be enormous and have far-reaching effects, changing lives of flora, fauna and human beings for all time.

The decision makers couldn't care less about what we say!!! They are not concerned about the generations of people who have enjoyed the drove for what it offers this rural community. It may only seem a dirt track to some but others it's an area for safe dogwalking,treeclimbing,
cyling, blackberry picking and enjoying what nature gives. Many people for many years have trodden the drove and long may it continue. Will a tarmac road that will act as rat run improve the environment?? I think we all know the answer to that!!
