I oppose cluster housing in un-sewered areas of Cumming. (Forsyth County residents only)
In signing this petition, I am:
1. opposing any zoning changes, variances, or other methods that result in homes on less than one acre in un-sewered areas.
2. opposing any zoning changes or variances that accelerate development.
3. opposing community septic.
4. opposing any and all sewer extensions beyond areas where sewer is already permitted.
5. calling for reforms needed to make the zoning process citizen-centric.
6. advocating for sensible enhancements to current AG-1 zoning to preserve Cumming’s rural character.
7. advocating for clean, competent, courageous and citizen-centric government.
8. pledging to vote in elections against any Council Member that does not uphold the principles of this petition.
Note: The photo above is from the projected plans for a cluster neighborhood to be built off of Dr Bramlett rd. The builder is planning to rezone the area from Agricultural District to Master Planned District in order to build cluster homes and businesses on this property. I have been meeting with neighbors all week to review the latest development plans. The pressure is mounting and we are staying focused on the zoning board.

Without massive road improvements, stop lights, and a plan to increase school capacity I oppose this. The area simply cannot handle the influx of 128 new single family homes without a massive burden on taxpayers.
Too much growth in this county without proper roads. Already too much traffic!
Your ruining our community. Stop the cluster building of houses.
The infrastructure of this area can not support the traffic that will be created by this development.

No more building for "inventory". Fill the housing developments already built before building anymore. Killing this county.
