As of Jan. 1, California's law has changed so that there can no longer be any bare-handed contact with foods that won't be cooked. That means baked goods, salads, and yes, even sushi.
My hopes are, to overturn this law and stop the "No more bare-handed food handling in California."
The ban on 'handling food bare handed,' is not the only solution for food safety with sushi. There is a higher risk of germs and bacteria that can be transferred from gloves to sushi. The image of clean, healthy, artistic and traditional sushi, is destroyed by California's law to enforce the ban on bare handed food handling.
I want to put a stop to this law and continueto prove that gloves are not the only option for preparing food.the tradition of sushi, and keep the image of sushi as clean, healthy and artistic
This is ridiculous. You ever try to make nigiri with gloves on? It falls apart and looks like trash. Leave the professionals alone and let us do our jobs properly.
