So Woodland court lately the builders have been working at times deemed illegal by the council, most recently 12am. This has effected our sleep resulting in affecting our education which we pay £9,250 a year for. Not only that but most of us pay £119 a week to live in this accommodation the least we expect is a good sleep in the rooms we pay a lot of money for.
I'm not only signing this because of the noise on the night of the 29th/30th, but because of the constant noise seven days a week and increasingly at all hours, including early morning and late at night.

It’s very misleading that Edge Hill Uni won awards for its accommodation ... it’s superficial, if you explore deeper, many of the accommodation at Edge Hill is appalling, for example mould and damp in some Forest Court halls...why doesn’t the university focus on sorting out that instead of paying money for stupid water features in the lakes?
The noise disturbs my sleep and I suffer from insomnia already so it’s pretty detrimental to my learning when I’m so tired from being constantly woken up, sometimes as early as 6 am. For the money I’m paying, I expected better... but then Edge Hill has constantly disappointed me in in the past 3 years in more ways than one.

Accommodation at this university has continued to disappoint myself and fellow residents for a long time. Cosmetically it looks fine but there are always major underlying problems. As a university you should genuinely care for your students and it is rare the case.

We are paying hefty prices to be kept awake or disturbed with out study. Either way - not some thing that should occur.
