Our San Marcos home is in the flight path. We are long time residents (over 45yrs) and have never seen/heard the airport this badly. It’s so noisy at all hours.

I strongly oppose the expansion of airport uses in Carlsbad. San Diego County already has an international airport with a brand-new terminal sufficient to support these flights. The San Diego Lindbergh Field airport is readily accessible from Carlsbad. There’s an abundance of free parking at the Carlsbad Transit Center. Trains run on a regular schedule to the downtown San Diego Union Station and from there the 992 City Bus has travelers at the curb of Departures within a matter of minutes. It’s simply not necessary to add the noise, pollution and additional traffic to Carlsbad when a major airport is so easily accessible.

Smaller quiet planes are fine. Not commercial big planes.

I SUPPORT NO big commercial jets, NO low-flying noisy and polluting planes over homes and schools, and NO all-night air freight!
Big Commercial jets LEAD TO all-night freight. Palomar has NO quiet hours, and NO flight path limits, so cargo jets could fly over our homes at 2 a.m.

The noise is very noticeably increased! In addition, I notice more planes flying lower over our homes. Its as if they have been given permission to ignore the neighbors below. Local politicians need to step up! We will remember when it comes to elections.

The airplane noise has already increased significantly. And the air pollution stinks like jet exhaust. I'm very concerned about the adverse weather conditions in Carlsbad. There's been airplane crashes due to offshore wind and dense fog. This airport was never intended for commercial airlines. The runway isn't long enough and the visibility is substandard.

The airport and all the plane traffic has become significantly louder since I moved here. You hear an airplane go by every 2 minutes it seems like.

We were not allowed to vote on this addition of jet noise starting at 6 AM. Will ruin property values.

I have lived near the airport for 10 years and the airplane noise is significantly worse. We are awaken before 6 am by large airplanes and the noise goes on till well after 10. It’s unacceptable that the impact on the community is being ignored!!!

Lived next to Shadowridge Golf course since 1994.. Never thought I'd hear jets rumbling before 7am.. It's minor to me, but others have mentioned it.
