The county needs to stop overstepping in the matters at Carlsbad airport and respect the city of Carlsbad and north county residents… and the court order. What is happening is an outrage!

The blatant disregard for the recommended flight path endanger many homes and schools . In fact, in March 2026 , Palomar is now on FAA hot list for safety concerns as training flights routinely ignore the 1000 foot rule and fly right over schools too low. 5000 or more kids in danger. Don't say it's just NIMBY. I don't live anywhere near but can see it isn't right to enda

Amazing how Palomar Airport and the airlines are thumbing their noses at local residents and rules. It’s the new American (country) way, lead by Democrats, that rules do not need to be followed…

Carlsbad citizens voted against expanding access to commercial airlines at Palomar airport years ago. Recent expansions clearly go against both citizens' wishes and established laws.

The new jets noise is bad for us now in old Carlsbad. We were never in the flight path at 5 miles out.

Due to increase of activity and size of jets landing, I and my neighbors in flight path experience great deal pollution affecting our homes and health. We live in San Marcos with jet fuel, soot affecting us, from planes descending approaching runway. The planes are considerably way too low for comfort. Please stop the American Airlines and United Airlines and all other airline commercial flights from being allowed to land at this small airport.

As local Carlsbad homeowners, we oppose the pollution and noise pollution that would come from big jets at Paloma’s airport. Overnight flights should also not be allowed.

Stop the big planes. FAA says Carlsbad Airport, unsafe, and they would make it worse.

The Palomar Airport is unsafe for large aircraft especially an increase in number. Keep it small and safe. We live here.

How can they endanger the lives and wellbeing of so many families in close proximity to the airport? Especially with no constraints!
