Our neighborhood is across from the airport. United airlines plans create a nuisance for the city of Carlsbad not to mention a safety hazard. The noise and pollution created from the current AA planes is intolerable. In addition the runway is too short for aircraft of that size. I lived in my neighborhood long enough to be around for several fatal accidents. We bought our home with the understanding that it was for the use of private jets and smaller aircraft not this. I vehemently oppose United’s plans as well as the current AA flights.

I hear the planes take off loudly because they fly over my house. They should divert their flight path more to the west so they don't fly over my neighborhood.

The old turbo props worked well. New Jets are too big and too loud.

These United and American fights due cause a significant amount of nuisance to the enjoyment of our backyards and homes. It's much to small of an area to absorb so many commercial flights so late at night. They should fly over the Business Park Area; and NOT Residential Areas

I have lived in my home for 30 years. Never has the airport invaded the sanctuary of my home and negatively impacted my daily life as it has done recently. Not only the large planes but the prop planes incessantly flying over my home are maddening. The potential of the small airport becoming a hub was never disclosed or anticipated. The occasional convenience for a few travelers should not trump the daily lives of hundreds who suffer the impact of noise, pollution and decreased property values.

Planes that are too large for our airport are landing here. Allowing even more over-sized jets to push the safety envelope is courting disaster.
And yet, here the county is once again jumping the gun on a lawsuit and pushing an illegal expansion at the airport and risking lives.
