6:30 this morning, a large jet close over the top of our home, 2328 Azure Lane. I understand the benefits of having a nearby airport, and I am also away if the jet exhaust that creates an oily film in my garden ponds. So now I and my family and community are breathing this in. The very least would be to adhere to the no fly hours. The quiet zones. (Big sigh.)

I SUPPORT NO big commercial jets, NO low-flying noisy and polluting planes over homes and schools, and NO all-night air freight!

Safety is one of the primary concerns… accidents will fall squarely on the city in litigation! Something to think about, Carlsbad.

The quiet pollution free neighborhood I purchased my home in has now become a noise and smoot polluted (visible on my oranges) place. Planes from Palomar used to buzz over now they roar and way to often. Not sure why they need to fly over the neighborhoods in San Marcos. Why are you selling out my families quality of life?

The unwillingness to even consider quiet periods is reason enough to go to court.

This is an airport encircled by residential homes. Who can possibly think this is a good idea to have large jets take-off and land here.

Stop the madness! Community this size will be destroyed by increase in airport use by any sized equipment.
Saw this happen first hand in Sanford Fl.. Started out small local airport with a couple of charters from Ireland and the UK. Wasn't very long and big jets over the house flying low and loud were frequent. Very very annoying to the homes in the area.

I am deeply concerned about the health risks in our community with added pollution from more larger airplane flights. I also can’t stand the noise generated by the current commercial flights and to add to that is disturbing.

No runway expansion.
No large jets
NO MORE AIR POLLUTION
NO MORE JET NOISE
Keep Palomar airport small and appropriate for our surrounding communities.

Allow no changes to Palomar Airport. While eating across the street at outdoor restaurants I often inhale some noxious engine fumes, and that can’t be healthy. Imagine what it would be like with the proposed increase in flights.

Why have rules when they are not enforced? Such a shame the City of Carlsbad is denied a voice for major effects on their citizens/voters/taxpayers.

I do not want to become John Wayne south. So incredibly disappointing to have the county ignore the court mandates that Carlsbad retain local control. I do not want the airport expanded and I want the flight paths and quiet hours enforced. I truly hope expansion doesn’t happen. Concerns: safety pollution and noise.
