We must have local control. Without that we will continue to have screaming jets assaulting us from earliest morning to Kate night. We will have no way to GetTheLead out of the fuel nor set noise and operational controls to protect ourselves and our families.

Please think about the quality of life for those living close to the airport. Yes, when we bought a home here…we knew we were close to the airport, but we assumed that the laws and guidelines for airplanes would be adhered to. This is NOT the case.

The flight path is directly over our 55+ community. The noise in the early morning is loud and annoying. This commercial use of the airport must be stopped.

I SUPPORT NO big commercial jets, NO low-flying noisy and polluting planes over homes and schools, and NO all-night air freight!
Big Commercial jets LEAD TO all-night freight. Palomar has NO quiet hours, and NO flight path limits, so cargo jets could fly over our homes at 2 a.m.
We need LOCAL CONTROL. Let’s keep Palomar small, SAFE, community-focused, and friendly.

The City has been granted the rights and the city and citizens should be able to have their voices and votes heard. The county is just chasing big corporate money. If the citizens want the current plan and so let it be. But the county can't shove it down the people's throats.

Local airport is great--but if we don't push back and assert our legal rights, commercial interests will run us over. Enforced flight curfews, and flight path redirection to reduce noise levels and crash dangers will allow us all to coexist in a reasonable manner.

I live on a hill top in Vista. My home is being buzzed by more and more jets at low altitudes. I have complained multiple times. No comment back. We do not need another John Wayne Airport in our backyard.

So sad that our once quiet neighborhoods are now full of air & noise pollution. Not saying what it does to our home values & the already high costs to live in California. Let's continue this fight for the future of San Diego County.

There needs to be greater transparency regarding the planned airport expansion and the City of Carlsbad should be granted greater authority in this process.
