It is our belief that the majority of persons in Trinidad and Tobago treasure our animals, domesticated and wild. Harmful activities which threaten abuse, cruelty and destruction of these animals can be prevented with a combination of education and legislation. In the case of the latter, we feel that an effective deterrent can be created by ensuring significant and reasonable punitive measures which should replace our antiquated laws presently in place.
Join us as we seek to give attention to this cause, which will be carried to our elected representatives.

The feedback received thus far confirms that many citizens are deeply concerned about the inadequacy of our current animal protection laws. I am currently drafting a formal document for our elected officials to ensure our specific recommendations are presented clearly.

The momentum surrounding our call for legislative reform has reached a significant point. It is encouraging to witness such widespread agreement that current animal welfare laws require immediate revision.

My pet is a member of my family, and thats how we should all think. Not because its an animal, all lives matter.
Our laws are archaic when it comes to the protection of animals. Stricter laws should be in place to deter perpetrators from abusing animals. The ruthless killing or harming of our pets needs to be taken seriously and punishment needs to be harsh.
Anything for the animals and family.

its about time we change the laws here. sick of seeing stray dogs getting treated like trash on the streets. stop the cruelty now!!!
