helping to create awareness, to be vigilant, and to let not only the lawmakers know, but also the people committing these offences that we do care and that we are not prepared to stand by letting animals be mistreated. That it is not ok.

In Australia and in the USA they take the matter seriously and they are being prosecuted accordingly. Not only paying a fine, but also doing jail time and having their animals taken away from them. Why doesn't that happen here? Why?

Why is it that by law in this country animals are allowed to be suffering cruelty or being killed and nothing gets done about it. What a caution? That is supposed to scare people is it?

It is only seen as a criminal offence and we are supposed to stand by and accept it?
