The Homeless Community in Abbotsford wants to build a permanent tent city right across from beautiful Willband Creek park on Valley Road. This will destroy the area which is currently a great spot for families to jog, walk their dogs and take their children. These types of tent cities do nothing to get homeless people off the street, in fact it does the exact opposite and will attract more homeless people to Abbotsford. Not to mention the rise in crime it will cause. Do you want your kids stepping on used needles? Do you want your vehicles broken into while at the park? We have all worked hard to be able to rent or buy our property and become part of a great community, don't let the homeless ruin it!
