We oppose the applicant’s proposal to construct his suggested affordable housing project at 143 Sound Beach Avenue because the project as proposed would endanger the public safety as a result of parking deficiencies and increased traffic congestion.

It is very clear to me that this development's downside far, far exceeds the upside. The impact of 60 individual units will be devastating. Traffic on Sound Beach already is difficult, especially in and around the train station, and exaggerated in summer and on weekends. It's lovely for those that live outside OG and Riverside to think they can make a fair assessment of the impact, but for those of us who live here, as I have for more than 20 years, there can be only one evaluation - the project must be denied.

I am a long time resident of Greenwich and I am in full support of the apartment development. The location is excellent for many millennials and it would provide affordable housing. And for all those people complaining sorry Greenwich need more affordable housing units and yes people who cannot afford kings or your wanna be high ends stores hey stamford is just next door.

As a long-term resident of OG I emphatically object to this project. If allowed to go forward, those in charge of the application process will not be able to count on our support in future local elections. I intend to hold every incumbent accountable who does not stop this project from going forward to the detriment of our community.

The increased car traffic and access to Sound Beach Avenue would be a major problem if the project were to be approved.

The traffic around the station is already a nightmare. Adding 60 units is just guna make it impossible to get anywhere on the weekends. Bad idea.

Ridiculous proposal. There is zero room for the extra cars and safety should come first before cramming people into this small lot.
